McKenna Lechner, a senior at Foresthill High in California, won the Division 5 girls varsity race at the subsections of the CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds at Frogtown in Angels Camp. Lechner covered the 3-mile raincourse layout in 18:52.3 to advance to the Nov. 12 section final at the Willow Hills course in Folsom.
